Local activities:

- Birdwatching and Nature Walks: the Gambia is home to more than 550 species of birds and they are all around you, which means you don’t have to go too far to see some beautiful, exotic birds. In fact, we have over 100 species of birds within our grounds and over 150 within walking distance, so whether you are an avid birder or casual bird watcher, novice or professional, the birding is great!

- River boat expeditions: see the Gambian nature by river boat, one of the many things to do in Gambia and, perhaps, one of the most beautiful and relaxing. 

You leave from the fishing village of Kartong and spend the afternoon in a dugout on the Alahein River.

- Quad bike expedition: the quad bike tour start from the village of Sanyang and will bring you inside the extraordinary landscape along the atlantic ocean coast

- Fishing: the Gambia is a very small country and it has 80 kilometres of Atlantic coastline which has always been a very popular fishing holiday destination: beach fishing is a fun activity which can be enjoyed by all people and we are just 2 km from the sea. 

Sea and river fishing is good all year round and the numerous sandy bays, shallow reefs and rocky outcrops provide the opportunity to try out different methods of fishing. Captain fish, Snapper, Barracuda, Butterfish and Ladyfish are just some of the species to be found in the coastal waters of the Gambia.
